เรื่องระหว่าง Who และ Whom เป็นเรื่องหนึ่งที่ผู้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษหลายคนมักใช้ผิดหรือยังไม่ค่อยเข้าใจ ครั้งนี้เราจะมีหลักการใช้ Who และ Whom มาฝากพร้อมตัวอย่างการใช้งาน เพื่อให้เห็นภาพมากขึ้น

Who จะเป็นประธาน (Subject) เช่น

Jack is the man who teaches me English.
Who did you give the paper to?
David is the student who I shouted at.
That is the woman who I am traveling with.
That is the man who I gave the pen to.

Whom ปกติจะเป็นกรรมและส่วนใหญ่จะตามหลังบุพบท (Preposition) เช่น

Jack is the man with whom I learn English.
To whom did you give the paper?
David is the student at whom I shouted.
That is the woman with whom I am traveling.
That is the man to whom I gave the pen.
