หลายคนสับสนกับคำว่า ให้ยืม ผู้ขอยืม ให้เช่า ต่างๆ ดังนั้นมาดูเทคนิค ความหมายและวิธีการใช้ดังนี้

Borrow แปลว่า ยืม ขอยืม ผู้ขอยืม
– You need something.
– You ask for something.
ตัวอย่าง
I do not have a computer. >> Can I borrow your computer?

Lend แปลว่า ให้ยืม (ตรงข้ามกับ Borrower)
– To give to someone in need.
ตัวอย่า
I have a computer. >> Can you lend me your computer?

ความแตกต่างระหว่าง Borrow กับ Rent
Borrow – ยืมแบบไม่เสียเงิน
Rent– เช่า (ยืมของโดยต้องจ่ายเงินเป็นค่าตอบแทน)

Use – ใช้, ขอใช้
