ความจริงแล้วมีวลีกริยาเกี่ยวกับ Play หลายคำที่น่าสนใจและเราสามารถนำมาใช้ได้ในชีวิตประจำวันมากมาย ครั้งนี้ก็เช่นเคยเราได้รวบรวมความหมายของวลีและตัวอย่างมาให้ ดังนี้

• Play at หมายถึง แสดงหรือแกล้งทำเป็นคนอื่น ในขณะที่เล่นเกม เช่น We played at being pirates for a while.
• Play down หมายถึง ทำหรือพยายามทำบางสิ่งบางอย่างให้สำคัญน้อยลง เช่น The senator played down the threat of a recession.
• Play out หมายถึง บางสิ่งบางอย่างเกิดขึ้น เช่น My date played out a little differently than I imagined.

  1. มีพฤติกรรมเหมือนเด็ก ไม่มีความรับผิดชอบ เช่น Stop playing around, and get on with your homework.
  2. ทำงานในลักษณะที่ไม่รุนแรง เช่น You could build interesting components called amplifiers and begin playing around amplifiers.
