Ought to ถือว่าเป็น Semi-Modal Verb เพราะบางครั้งสามารถเป็นกริยาช่วยและในบางครั้งก็เป็นกริยาหลักได้ด้วย โดยความหมายของ Ought to หมายถึง ควรจะ หรือใช้กล่าวถึงสิ่งที่ควรทำ โดย Ought to นั้นสามารถจัดอยู่ในกลุ่มเดียวกับ Should Must Can ได้ มาดูหลักการใช้ Ought to และตัวอย่างประโยคการใช้งานที่น่าสนใจกัน
